The results were follouing: 1. In diabetic group, 44 eyes were male and 56 eyes were female. Sixth decade occupied 35 eyes and seventh decade 28 eyes, fifth decade 15 eyes. 2. The mean error score was increased with age : under fifth decade was 5.12, sixth decade 5.52, over seventh decade 7.43. 3. There was no difference in mean error score and prevalence of tritanomaly between man and woman in control group and diabetic group. 4. Diabetic group more than 10 year duration was the highest in mean error score and prevalence of tritanomaly. 5. There was no difference in mean error score between the control group and non- retinopathic diabetic group but prevalence of tritanomaly was higher in non retinopathic diabetic group than in control group. 6.
